FAQ

1. HOW OFTEN WILL MY ELEVATOR NEED TO BE SERVICED?

Elevator Division has adopted the minimum frequency of QUARTERLY service on all commercial passenger elevators. This can save you money if you are having your equipment serviced monthly and would like to remain code compliant but cut some costs. Keep in mind: While less frequent billing will improve the bottom line in the short run if you have a high use elevator or one that has seen some miles, you may find monthly service is the most cost effective way to keep your equipment running at top performance!

2. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN FULL SERVICE AND LIMITED SERVICE?

A full service contract includes some or all of the cost associated with any necessary repair or replacement. Therefore it reduces the risk to the building owner/management. With a limited service contract, the elevator maintenance company typically inspects, cleans, lubricates and makes minor adjustments to the elevator equipment on each visit and reports any necessary repair or replacement to the owner or management with a price for consideration and approval. It works more like just in time inventory you only pay for the parts you need when you need them. Both services have benefits to offer. Give us a call and we'd be happy to help you choose which type of service is the best fit for your elevators
